In the absence of a quorum, the holding of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on the process of subsidizing the purchase of textbooks and teaching aids for students of the primary and lower secondary education levels for the school year 2023/2024 has failed.

In this commission, it was planned to interview the General Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Fadile Dyla, the Acting Director of the Department of Pre-University Education, Avni Rexha and Genc Hamzaj from the Information Society Agency (AShI).

In the absence of MPs from the position and some from the opposition, the chairman of this commission, Shemsedin Dreshaj, declared this meeting closed, because only MP Agim Veliu was present.

"Actually, despite the fact that we have been informed that we will be in sufficient numbers to continue the discussion and interviewing of the candidates foreseen for today. This meeting cannot continue because it has only two members from the opposition entities. In the absence of the forum, this meeting was declared closed", Dreshaj said.
