Prime Minister Albin Kurti gave an interview to the Bosnian media during his visit to Sarajevo. He spoke about the nervousness in the Serbian Republic due to his visit, saying that it is Serbia that, together with Moscow, is holding the entire Balkans hostage.

In an exclusive interview for Hayat television's "Investigation of the Week", Prime Minister Kurti said that despite the hysteria from Banja Luka, he has not regretted his visit to Sarajevo.

"At no point did I think of canceling my visit to Sarajevo, which I am returning to after six years, and I like coming to Sarajevo, because I have many friends here. I am afraid that the reaction from Banja Lluka is the fear of the inability to recognize the reality, they cannot understand that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a single state. I think that just like Serbia blocking the Western Balkans, Republika Srpska also blocks Bosnia and Herzegovina and holds the whole country because of its fear. In an identical way and this can be seen in all international conferences, Serbia is holding the Western Balkans hostage because of Moscow and they want the whole region to be their hostage. They hold everything back because they know they can cause instability and they want us all to listen to them. In the same way, the Republika Srpska wants BiH to depend on it and be its hostage", said Kurti.

He emphasized that the problems that exist in the region and BiH were caused by Aleksandar's regimes Vuçiq and Milorad Dodik – two satellites of Russia.

Speaking about the association of Serbian municipalities, Kurti said that it is Belgrade's desire to have control over the Serbian ethnicity in Kosovo, who would have their own president like a small Dodik, making Kosovo a non-functional state.

"We will not allow this", said Kurti, adding that the international community is increasingly realizing that Serbia wants such a thing to create a kind of "Serbian Light Republic".

Kurti emphasized that Serbs make up only four percent of the population in Kosovo and not 40 percent as Serbia claims.

"There are more Albanians in Serbia, from Subotica to Preševo, than Serbs in Kosovo. There are more Albanians in Montenegro than Serbs in Kosovo", Kurti emphasized.
