The hearing of two witnesses, Liridon Ajazaj and Brendon Kurtaj, continued at the Basic Court in Pristina in the case known as "Kobra", where Dibran Hoxha, known as "Kobra", Roland Susuri, Arben Vezaj, Burim Mazreku and Jesmir Badalli are accused of the murder of VC on January 3, 2023 at the "Kobra City" bar in Prizren. The two witnesses said they remember almost nothing about the critical night because they were drunk.

The accused, Dibran Hoxha, known by the nickname "Cobra", was brought to the courtroom in handcuffs. The other accused were also present, along with their defense attorneys.

The first to begin giving testimony in today's court session was Liridon Ajazaj, who initially stated that the accused are fellow villagers, but that he does not know them specifically.

Throughout his testimony, which lasted more than 30 minutes, he stated that he did not remember anything because he was drunk.

The prosecutor in the case, Merita Rugova, confronted witness Ajazaj with his testimony given to the investigator, where she then stated that three people had caused a mess in the bar and had argued.

The witness then continued to say that he was drunk and did not remember.

Asked by the prosecutor when he had seen Dibran Hoxha, the witness stated that he had seen him at the moment when the police arrived after the incident had occurred.

Dibran Hoxha's defense attorney, Florent Latifi, continued to question the witness, Liridon Ajazaj, who also confronted the witness with parts of his statement given to the Police in January 2023.

The other witness in this case, Brendon Kurtaj, also stated that because he was drunk, he does not remember much about what happened on the critical night when an Albanian citizen was killed.

He said that he went to the "Kobra City" bar accompanied by two people who left after 5 minutes.

Asked by the prosecutor, Rugova, if he remembered who was in the bar, witness Kurtaj said no, because he was very drunk.

This witness was also confronted by Dibran Hoxhaj's lawyer, Florent Latifi, with part of his testimony. Then he asked him if he had seen his client before at the "Kobra City" bar and the witness stated that he had 'seen him before'.

The accused himself, Dibran Hoxha, who is in custody, also asked questions about the two witnesses.

In today's session, it was planned to hear the witnesses Alketa Sejdiu and Hasime Idrizi. But, although the Court had ordered them to be brought under the escort of the Kosovo Police. Initially, the presiding judge, Kujtim Krasniqi, told them that they had not received any information from the Police. But, then Krasniqi announced that the Kosovo Police had informed him that they had not implemented the court order, since the residential address of the witness Hasime Idrizi was not found, and not even the residents of the area recognized her.

Then, the prosecutor, Merita Rugova, requested that the statement of the witness, Idrizi, be read, but then Dibran Hoxha's lawyer, Florent Latifi, asked the court to make more efforts to ensure the presence of the witness in question.

The trial panel in the "Cobra City" case decided not to read Hasime Idrizi's testimony in today's session and ordered the verification of the address.

The next hearings for the "Cobra City" court case will be held on the 2nd, 4th and 15th of May.

The defendants for the murder of the Albanian citizen on January 3rd at the "Kobra City" bar had pleaded not guilty at the initial hearing.

Dibran Hoxha, known as "Kobra", Roland Susuri, Arben Vezaj, Burim Mazreku and Jesmir Badalli, in the initial court hearing, pleaded not guilty to the charges in the case of the murder of VC, on January 3, 2023 at the "Kobra City" bar in Prizren.
