A person has been arrested for the murder that occurred last night in Vushtrri. A 19-year-old man lost his life as a result of gunfire, while the suspect admitted his guilt during the interview. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica, Valon Preteni, for KosovaPress.

He emphasized that the suspect for the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder" is being held in custody for 48 hours.

"The weapon with which this murder is suspected to have been committed has been seized, the Prosecution and the police are collecting relevant evidence in relation to the case. During the statement, the suspect admitted his guilt for the murder. Within the legally prescribed deadline, the prosecution will file a request for the detention measure against the suspect for this case. During the investigation, the motives for this incident will also be revealed," the response to KosovaPress states.

Kosovo Police have announced that the incident occurred at around 20:35 on "Galip Badivuku" street, in Vushtrri.
