The Committee for Security and Defense Affairs has approved the final draft of the work regulations of the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Kosovo Security Force.

This draft law has been approved with some remarks proposed by members of the opposition and ruling parties.

While the members of the opposition parties and those in power unanimously agreed to vote on this draft law in a quick procedure, Shqipe Selimi from the Vetëvendosje Movement mentioned some remarks, for which he stated that he will not vote in favor.

In addition, Selimi emphasized that they accepted the draft law late.

Meanwhile, the member of this commission from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Bekë Berisha requested that this bill be passed urgently.

After discussions about the remarks began, the commission continued to be closed to the media. With its conclusion, the chairman of the Committee for Security and Defense Affairs, Anton Quni, said that after reviewing the remarks, the members agreed to vote in favor of the approval of the work regulations of the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Kosovo Security Force.

In addition, Quni pointed out the importance of the approval of this draft law.
