The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Riho Terras, has condemned the terrorist attack in the Ibër-Lepenci channel, while emphasizing that all criminals must be brought to justice.

He, in his first visit to Kosovo, said that on Tuesday he will also stay in the north of the country, where he will encourage the institutions of Kosovo to shed light on the case of the terrorist attack of November 29, where the country's critical infrastructure was damaged. The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Union expressed more reservations about the progress of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, as he said that he is waiting to receive the views of all parties involved.

"Tomorrow he plans to visit the north of Kosovo. He will hold several meetings there and at the same time he will visit the place where the attack on the Ibër-Lepenci canal took place. Also, encourage the authorities to work in this direction towards the discovery and enlightenment of this case...All criminals must be brought to justice. I am a general and in order to make a plan, I must have a complete overview of the information", he emphasized.

At the press conference, Terras announced that he has met with institutional leaders in Kosovo, and is expecting to meet opposition leaders, representatives of non-majority communities, and civil society in Kosovo in the coming days.

When asked about the stalemate in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, he said he would give a more objective position after meeting with all parties involved.

In addition, the MEP praised Kosovo for undertaking a series of reforms, which according to him, will help the country in its journey towards EU integration.

On November 29, an explosion occurred in the Ibër-Lepenci canal, in the village of Varagë in the municipality of Zubin Potok.

Local institutions qualified it as a criminal and terrorist attack aimed at damaging Kosovo's critical infrastructure.

As a result of this terrorist attack, several cities in Kosovo remained without drinking water for days. Likewise, the stability of the electricity system in Kosovo was endangered, as the cooling of the thermal power plants of Kosovo is done through the water of Ibër-Lepenci B./KosovaPress/
