The Council of Ministers of the Government of Albania has today approved the decision to approve the list of drugs reimbursable from the Health Care Fund for all patients suffering from various pathologies.

In a statement to the media after the government meeting, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu said that it is an important decision for all those patients who are treated with drugs and medications by family doctors regarding their diagnoses.

Also, the Minister of Health announced the adoption of another important decision in support of all citizens affected by diabetes, expanding the reimbursement of diabetes strips for measuring blood sugar.
