New York police released surveillance footage in Manhattan, where a masked gunman shot and killed Brian Thompson, the chief executive officer of UnitedHealth, the largest health insurance company in the US, in cold blood.

The killer was caught on surveillance cameras at the Hilton Hotel in midtown Manhattan.

The police say that after the crime, the killer escaped on a bicycle and was intensively searched for.

Thompson was walking to the New York Hilton Hotel in midtown Manhattan to attend a UnitedHealthcare conference at the time of the attack. Investigators say it appears to be a planned murder.
