In the courtyard of the "Zenel Hajdini" school in Gadime, the doors of the new kindergarten have also been opened. From today, the little girls will have the opportunity to be involved in early education. This is the second nursery that was inaugurated during the day by the Municipality of Lipjan.
The mayor of this municipality, Imri Ahmeti, said the opening of this nursery marks an extraordinary step for Gadimen.
"It is truly a special pleasure to provide good conditions and facilities for our children. Therefore, in this case, the two Gadim and this region will have the opportunity to bring their children to the nursery school and educate them. And I I believe that it greatly affects the well-being of the citizens of this region. I believe that in continuation of our commitments we will complete the necessary infrastructure for the residents of this region. But today is a special day for Lipjani especially for Gadime because the start of the work of two nurseries, even this one in Gadime, marks an extraordinary step for us. A step that takes place once, not every day", said Ahmeti.
The Deputy Director of the UNICEF Office, Larissa Bruun, said that it is important to lay the foundation in early childhood education.
"Lipjan is one of the municipalities in which UNICEF has very good cooperation... and it seems that the mayor and the municipality behind him are placing a special emphasis on early education and to offer you this opportunity as early as possible. Therefore we have the opening of new nurseries in the municipality of Lipjan... we will continue to cooperate in the field of early education and not only in other areas in Lipjan", she added.
The director of the school, Skender Ademi, said that the nursery was a dream for Gadimen.
"Nursery has been a dream for Gadima that we have never thought about. However, early learning and early education is an advancement for learning and for later learning", said Ademi.
During the day, the mayor of Lipjan, Imri Ahmeti, also participated in the laying of the foundation stone of the kindergarten in Shala Lipjan.
