The acting Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, has stated that they are waiting for the completion of the vote counting process, the certification of the results and then to discuss the formation of the government, reports KosovaPress.
He made this statement after a joint conference with the World Bank's Vice President for Development Finance, Akihiko Nishio.
"Regarding this issue, I believe what the Prime Minister said is valid. So, first we will wait for the completion of the counting process, the certification of the results, the constitution of the Parliament, and then we can talk about forming the government," said Murati.
The Central Election Commission in Kosovo has approved the final results of the February 9 parliamentary elections.
According to these results, the Vetëvendosje Movement leads with 42.30 percent. The Democratic Party of Kosovo is second with 20.95 percent, followed by the Democratic League of Kosovo with 18.27 percent.In fourth place is the coalition between the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Social Democratic Initiative with 7.06 percent.
According to this data, LVV has secured 48 seats in the Kosovo Assembly, PDK, 24 seats, LDK, 20 seats, Serbian Lista nine seats, and the AAK-Nisma coalition, eight seats.
