Many Palestinians, whose homes were destroyed in Israel's attacks on Gaza, are struggling to survive in harsh conditions in makeshift tents, reports Anadolu.

Palestinians are struggling to meet their basic needs because Israel has closed the borders to Gaza and prevented the entry of humanitarian aid, reports the UN. KosovaPress.

In this difficult life, children living in a tent camp in Khan Younis support their families by washing clothes and taking care of their brothers and sisters.

With the water that Palestinians manage to secure for their daily needs, Palestinian women carry out their daily chores.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) official in Gaza, Rosalia Poulin, said that the water shortage in Gaza has reached critical levels and that only one in 10 people in the Gaza Strip has access to clean, potable water, while 90 percent of the population struggles to find clean water to survive.

UN agencies say 1.8 million people in the region, more than half of whom are children, are in urgent need of clean water and health assistance.

As a result of the Israeli attacks and blockade, the Gaza Strip is experiencing a food crisis, water shortages, and electricity shortages.

The number of Palestinians who have lost their lives in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 48.503, while the number of injured has reached 111.927.
