The Immigration Section of the Court of Rome did not legitimize the detention of the migrants inside the Italian detention center for repatriation to their reception center in Gjadër.
The measure was ordered for the 12 foreigners from the Rome police headquarters on October 17, who are part of the 16 immigrants (10 from Bangladesh and six from Egypt) transported to Albania by the ship "Libra" of the Italian Navy.
"The two countries where the immigrants come from, Bangladesh and Egypt, are not safe, even in the light of the decision of the Court of Justice", says one of the judges of the Immigration Section of the Court of Rome in his order referring to the immigrants sent to Chicken.
The ban was not confirmed for any of the 12 immigrants.
For the judges, the status of being free can only be restored in Italy and therefore they will have to go back.
For the judges, "the denial of the validity of detentions in Albanian structures and areas, equivalent to Italian border or transit areas, is due to the impossibility of recognizing the countries of origin of detained persons as safe places". /ANSA/
