The Committee for Budgets, Labor and Transfers has approved the proposal-decision of the Government of Kosovo for the appointment of members of the Regulatory Commission of Public Procurement (KRPP) with remarks regarding the competencies of the candidates.
The two proposed members of the KRPP are Avni Sahiti and Fidane Spahija-Gjikolli.
However, the opposition MPs criticized the names of the candidates for members of the KRPP.
Deputy Avdullah Hoti, criticizing the absence of government representatives to present the proposal-decision, said that the two candidates, Avni Sahiti and Fidane Spahija-Gjikolli, do not meet the requirements for work experience.
Similarly, MP Mergim Lushtaku was also against these candidates.
MP Pal Lekaj has also requested that this proposal be returned to the government, as according to him, the candidates are contrary to the law in force.
On the other hand, the chairman of the Commission, Armend Muja, said that the candidate Spahija Gjikolli has the professional and academic experience.
According to him, the candidate Sahiti also has the experience of working in the KRPP.
