In the Assembly of North Macedonia, the debate about the budget proposal for 2025 is expected to begin today, as part of the agenda of the 22nd meeting.
The debate on the amendments for the budget proposal ended on November 29, while the accepted amendments and the necessary changes and additions were inserted in the completed budget proposal.
In accordance with the work regulations of the Assembly, the debate about the completed budget proposal at the Assembly meeting lasts at most five days. During the debate, the MP can speak several times for a total of 20 minutes, while the coordinator of the group of MPs can speak for a total of 30 minutes. The Government representative may speak several times, but not more than 30 minutes in general.
With the completed budget proposal, economic growth of 3,7 percent is foreseen and according to the Government, it is developmental, supportive with funds planned for capital investments, municipal projects and support for the economy.
On the agenda of the 22nd meeting is also the proposal of the law for the execution of the Budget for the year 2025 (with an abbreviated procedure).
