Students and citizens have arrived in Belgrade since early morning, in the student protest called "15 by 15" for the victims in Novi Sad, walking, while drivers greet them with horns and sirens are heard.

Numerous bus departures from other cities to the capital have been canceled, reports Today.

A grand reception was held last night for the students and pupils who set off on foot towards the capital. The blockade meeting is planned for today at several locations in Belgrade, with the central rally starting at 16:00 PM in front of the Serbian Parliament.

Student protests in Serbia have been going on for more than four months and for now it doesn't seem like they will end. But it is not known what their epilogue will be. The authorities in Serbia continue to claim that all the students' demands have been met and call on the academic community to engage in dialogue. However, even these calls for dialogue have diminished in recent days. The impression is that the regime's leaders have once again decided on their favorite tactic: buying time and tiring out the opponent, reports KosovaPress.

The protests began as a protest against corruption and demands for accountability following the collapse of the roof of the Novi Sad railway station in early November last year, which killed 15 people and injured two. But they have now turned into a mass movement demanding a political solution.
