Commander of KFOR, Major General Enrico Barduani, received today in a meeting the ambassadors and heads of missions from the 29 allied and partner countries that contribute troops to the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo.

The discussion focused on a variety of topics, including the security situation and current activities of KFOR and cooperation with the international community.

"I have emphasized the unity of efforts and purpose, so that together we can contribute to sustainable security throughout Kosovo and regional security," said the KFOR commander.

KFOR continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a safe environment for all people and communities in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX.
