Mohamed Salah says Liverpool's veterans need another Premier League title after they claimed a 2-0 win at Manchester City to extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points.
Salah was at the heart of the victory for the Reds, scoring the first goal and then assisting Dominik Szoboszlai to double Liverpool's lead before half-time.
Arne Slott's side are in a commanding position to secure a 20th English league title, although second-placed Arsenal have a game in hand. City, who have won the last four Premier League titles, are now 20 points behind the leaders in fourth place.
"It's unbelievable. It's a very difficult place to come and play here," Salah said after Liverpool's first league win at the Etihad for a decade.
Salah took his tally for a remarkable season to 30 goals and 21 assists and said he is enjoying his football more than ever, despite speculation about his future.
And Salah reiterated his belief that they need another Premier League medal to brighten their legacy.
"Maybe people prefer my first seasons but I prefer now because winning the league, helping the young players, it's special," he added.
"We need another title. Me and the big guys on the team, we need another title," he finally said.
