The deputy of Vetëvendosje Movement, Adnan Rrustemi, does not expect any positive development from Tuesday's meeting at the level of chief negotiators within the framework of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue in Brussels. He says that Serbia is not interested in dialogue and, according to him, Serbia aims to annex the north.

In an interview for KosovaPress, Rrustemi accuses Serbia of not being interested in implementing the Brussels Basic Agreement and the Ohrid annex, agreed in 2023.

A meeting at the level of chief negotiators - Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petkovic from the Government of Serbia - is scheduled to be held on December 17 in the European capital.

A few days ago, the spokesperson of the bloc for Foreign Policy and Security, Anitta Hipper, said that there the parties will "examine a number of issues, including the implementation of the Agreement for the normalization of relations".

The last meeting at the level of chief negotiators was in October - without any concrete results towards the implementation of the Brussels Agreement.

Rrustemi says that Serbia only pretends to be interested in dialogue, but the same on the ground is inciting and financing terrorist acts with the aim of annexing the north.

Rrustemi says that the diplomatic commitment of the executive has never ceased to convince the allies that Serbia is the main sponsor of terrorist attacks in the north.

After Serbian terrorists attacked the Kosovo Police and killed Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku in Banjské in Zveçan a year ago, the Iber-Lepenci canal in Zubin Potok was attacked on November 29 of this year.

Kosovo authorities said the attack was criminal terrorism and orchestrated by gangs supported by official Belgrade.

In an interview for KosovaPress, Rrustemi also talks about the issue of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority and the international pressure on the executive to send its draft statute to the Constitutional Court.

He says that the same will not be sent to the Constitutional Court, adding that it is only a working draft and not official.

On the other hand, Rrustemi also comments on the action of the Democratic Party of Kosovo in the opposition, which addressed the Constitutional Court on Friday.

PDK has contested the procedure of approval of 15 laws in the Assembly of Kosovo, while contesting the content of the Law on Bureau and Confiscation of Unjustified Assets.

According to Rrustem, PDK's goal is to delay the establishment of the Bureau.

The Law on the Bureau is being challenged for the second time by the PDK.

The PDK has criticized the government for the procedure of approving 15 other laws, within one day, which were passed with an accelerated procedure in the session of December 5.
