Citizens complain about the continued increase in the prices of food items, for maintenance and clothing, saying that such a thing is only worsening their economic situation.

The overall harmonized index of consumer prices according to the Kosovo Statistics Agency is higher at an average of 2.2 percent in February this year, compared to February 2023, while monthly inflation was 0.1 percent in February 2024.

Citizen Zeqir Buzuku tells KosovaPress that the prices of articles in general are very high and that a small pension can barely make ends meet.

Even Avni Bikliqi says that with a salary of 200 euros these days you can't even make it for yourself, and that it's not about family and other things.

Meanwhile, the other citizen, Miran Kajtazi, says that 50 percent of the population is unemployed, while the prices of articles have increased by 100 percent, making their economic situation even more difficult.
