Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said that only at the beginning of next year will it be possible to discuss her intention for a second term.

Asked by KosovaPress If she intends to continue her mandate for another four years, Osmani said that none of her political decisions have been based on calculations of where she will be, but rather on the interests of the citizens of Kosovo.

 "At the beginning of next year we will discuss this issue. Throughout my entire political career I have worked with only the interest of the Republic of Kosovo and all its citizens in mind. Never, any of my political decisions has been based on calculations of where I will be, but only where Kosovo and its citizens will be. This time too, this assessment of where I can contribute will be determined solely by taking into account the interest of Kosovo and its citizens. Never in my life have I been dependent on politics, nor am I dependent now," he said.

Osmani made this statement after the event organized by the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), together with the WE initiative for Women Entrepreneurs in Kosovo.
