Lawyer Bozho Prelevic stated that the police forces that allowed the parking of tractors in the center of Belgrade cannot be expected to ensure that tomorrow's protest by students and citizens passes without incident.

Prelevic told Beta that President Aleksandar Vuçiq has taken command of the police and that it is not impossible for the police to be abused by political power holders on Saturday.

He said that Vuçiq has ordered the Pionir Park to be surrounded by two circles of unregistered tractors and "paramilitary formations".

"The police who have allowed tractors without license plates to participate in traffic and who guard them in places where stopping and parking are prohibited and where the circulation of motor vehicles is prohibited, will act tomorrow according to the clear order of Vuçiq"And this will be another confirmation that we do not have a rule of law, but a dictatorship," he said.

Asked if there is a possibility that the police will be misused on March 15, Prelević said that Vuçiq Every day he tells untruths that could influence the behavior of the police.

"Vuçiq claims that he and his party are victims of violence, even though so far the violence has been organized by the president himself. Students and citizens have not participated in any violence and are willing to avoid contact, because they are significantly smarter than the state leadership and know that Serbia does not need civil conflict,” said lawyer Prelević.

Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has not spoken about whether he has information that dozens of people will come to Pionir to attack participants in the "15 by 15" protest, nor about how the police will react to the possible presence of criminal groups in Pionir Park or at the entrances to Belgrade.

The minister did not answer Beta's questions about whether the Ministry of Interior will consider the request of the students on the blockade to evacuate Pionir Park before the start of the protest on March 15 to avoid possible violence, and what the Ministry of Interior will do to prevent any conflict on the streets of Belgrade on Saturday, reports Beta.
