The Chairperson of the Committee for the Environment, at the same time a member of the Vetëvendosje Fitore Pacolli, has emphasized that during this four-year mandate they have managed to pass a high number of relevant draft laws compared to previous governments.

In the panel for infrastructure, housing and environment in the General Council of the Vetëvendosje Movement, she said that as a commission they also worked on the laws, which were considered necessary for change such as those for vehicles and impact on the environment.

"During these years we managed to break the record in terms of passing laws. In the past mandates, the average number of laws dealt with per mandate in the Environment Committee was up to three draft laws. Only last year we dealt with 38 draft laws and a total of 51 draft laws were dealt with. This includes the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, so both ministries managed to deal with 51 draft laws together", said Pacolli.

She also spoke about the work on forest management, the actions taken to increase security through the tightening of fines in road traffic, with the aim of reducing the number of accidents, protecting the environment from various degradations.

The Minister of Environment Liburn is also participating in the discussion panel Aliu, Deputy Ministers Hysen Durmishi and Jeton Raka, Chief of Cabinet Valon Hoti and climate change expert, Agim Mazreku.
