The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party of Kosovo refuses this year to participate in the session called for the annual address of President Vjosa Osmani, because according to them, she has continued to behave in a disturbing way in failing to fulfill her constitutional role and function.

"Mrs. Osmani as president, being at the same time the leader of foreign policy, ultimately failed to achieve any single success in the international representation and cooperation of Kosovo. As president, he failed to provide even a single recognition to Kosovo, as he failed in the field of the country's membership in any international organization. Moreover, as president, she has continued to remain silent regarding the measures and sanctions that the EU has imposed on Kosovo as a result of the government's destructive approach, and in no single case has she behaved or acted as a counter-balance to the wrong policies. of the government, which have exposed the country to international isolation", the announcement states.

According to PDK, even in the fourth year of her mandate, Osmani has continued to behave in complete contradiction with her constitutional role to represent the unity of the people by demonstrating one-sidedness towards Albin Kurti.

"However, even as the Supreme Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, he remained silent in the face of the unprecedented scandal of the failure to provide food for our army. On the other hand, it has continued to remain silent even in the face of the government's ongoing corrupt affairs, as no one has taken a single measure to dismiss the protagonist of the energy affair, Ambassador Martin Berishaj, whose appointment decision bears its stamp . To make matters worse, he continued to defend Ambassador Berishaj and every other scandal that happened during this year. Even this year, it has not only turned a blind eye to the scandals and corruption affairs of this government, but has joined the government campaign to attack the independent institutions of justice and, in the worst case, has continued its constitutional violation for the non-decree of the Chief Prosecutor of the State", the announcement states.

Further, PDK says that the president practically instead of institutionally supporting the independence and integrity of justice institutions, she has hindered their work, thus hindering the fight against corruption and negative phenomena.

"Already when almost four years of her mandate as president have been completed, she has failed to leave a single successful mark for Kosovo, while her completely unremarkable role has turned into a harmful factor for the state of Kosovo and its citizens her. Unfortunately, her only contribution in these four years is the diminution of the role and importance of the institution of the President as well as the promotion of polarizing and divisive language in the political scene. Such a president who reduces the position of the President's Institution as a mechanism for accommodating family and party interests does not deserve the respect of the PDK Parliamentary Group", the announcement states.
