The member of the presidency of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Arben Mustafa, has responded to the MP of Vetëvendosje, Dimal Basha, after the latter stated in the plenary session of the Assembly of Kosovo that "Komercijalna Banka" was licensed in 2018, when Bedri Hamza was Governor of CBK.
Arben Mustafa reacted on Facebook that "Komercijalna Banka" was licensed in 2007, when CBK was run by UNMIK, and that in 2018, Bedri Hamza was not the governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK).
"In the conditions of the great panic that has gripped them, Vetëvendosje MPs are making up various fabrications in an attempt to create fog in the public. Finally, Dimal Basha, with his frivolity and ignorance, has said that Komercijalna Banka is the license in 2018, at the time when Bedri Hamza was Governor of CBK. This is a big lie, because: First, Komercijalna Banka was licensed in 2007, when CBK was run by UNMIK! Secondly, in 2018, Bedri Hamza was not Governor of CBK", Mustafa wrote.
The plenary session with a single item on the agenda, the draft resolution for four years of government of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, is continuing. This debate has been proposed by the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
