The President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani together with the US Ambassador in Pristina Jeffrey Hovenier, the American soldiers and soldiers from other countries celebrated Thanksgiving at the Bondsteel camp.

The first lady of our country has expressed gratitude to the American soldiers for their commitment to maintaining peace and security in Kosovo.

"Gratitude for their tireless commitment to peace and security in Kosovo, while they celebrate this holiday away from their families and loved ones," Osmani wrote on Facebook.

Thanksgiving is the annual national holiday in the United States that celebrates the harvest and other blessings of the year. It is modeled after a 1621 harvest festival and is particularly rich in legend and symbolism.

Traditional Thanksgiving meal food usually includes turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberries, and pumpkin pie.
