Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani did not greet veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army at the main ceremony celebrating the seventeenth anniversary of Kosovo's Independence.
Osmani after speaking before the parade of the Kosovo Security Force and Kosovo Police, where he greeted those present, the families of the KLA martyrs, but not the veterans.
"Honorable Prime Minister, honorable former presidents, honorable government cabinet, officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the Force and Security, honorable members of the Kosovo Police, honorable families of KLA martyrs, honorable ambassadors from friendly countries and many dear ones present," said Osmani.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, although he was informed that this ceremony was boycotted by organizations that emerged from the war, among others, greeted the families of martyrs, invalids and KLA veterans.

Today, they alone paid homage at the "Adem Jashari" memorial complex in Prekaz, on the 17th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, while criticizing Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who they said has not cooperated with the veterans at any point.
The Chairman of the KLA War Veterans Organization, Hysni Gucati, said that they do not boycott the Independence Day celebration, but emphasized that they did not participate in the Organizing Council for marking this 17th anniversary of statehood.
He congratulated all the families of martyrs, invalids and veterans on February 17, while also mentioning the former KLA leaders who are being tried in The Hague. /KosovaPress/
