The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, said that the freedom and independence of Kosovo will be protected in an uncompromising manner. She spoke after paying homage at the "Adem Jashari" Memorial Complex in Prekaz, today on the day of the November 28 holiday.

She said that the 112th anniversary of the Independence of Albania is a symbiosis of several historical dates for the Albanian nation.

She mentioned the birthday of the legendary commander, Adem Jashari, as well as the first public appearance of the Kosovo Liberation Army on November 28, 1997.

The head of the country emphasized that she swore again in front of the Jashari family graves that they will protect every corner of Kosovo as well as the country's freedom and independence.

"Once again to show not only the greatness and eternity of the sacrifice of Adem Jashari and the Jashari family, but to swear in front of their graves from the place where they rest eternally that we will uncompromisingly protect every corner of the republic ours. We will uncompromisingly defend the freedom and independence of Kosovo. At the same time, we will do our best to ensure that Albanians, wherever they live, have guaranteed rights", she said.
