The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today in Lezha, honored the 581st anniversary of Albanian unity, and participated in the inauguration of the statue of Gjergj Kastrioti.

President Vjosa Osmani wrote that in Lezha of the Covenant, today we honored the 581st anniversary of Albanian unity and inaugurated the statue of Gjergj Kastrioti, our symbol of endurance and vision.

"History teaches us that unity is our greatest strength. Therefore, today in this city of covenant, voices from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Presevo Valley, Arbëreshët from Italy and Albanians from other Albanian territories and from the diaspora came together," she wrote, reports KosovaPress.

President Vjosa Osmani wrote that everyone had the message that the unifying work and spirit of Skanderbeg must remain our national compass.
