The Kosovo Chamber of Commerce has addressed the Ombudsman with a request that, in the name of the public interest and based on his legal and constitutional powers, he initiate this matter in the Constitutional Court for the suspension of the ERO's decision for a period of at least one year.

According to the KCC, this request comes with the aim of protecting businesses from the possible increase in the price of electricity, which will have a direct impact on the increase in the cost of production or service, KosovaPress reports.

"Such an increase would negatively impact the competitiveness of businesses in the domestic and foreign markets, while also reducing the standard of living of citizens," the KCC statement said.
