President Vjosa Osmani, at the Munich Security Conference, met with the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) at NATO, General Christopher Cavoli, with whom she discussed the role of the largest military organization in Kosovo.
Osmani reconfirmed the readiness of Kosovo institutions to continue close cooperation with NATO in the future.
"We discussed NATO's irreplaceable role in Kosovo over the last 23 years in protecting security and stability. At this defining time for the European continent, I reaffirmed the commitment of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to close cooperation with the alliance, actively contributing to the security of the region and beyond," Osmani wrote on Facebook.
We recall that NATO is represented in Kosovo through the KFOR peacekeeping mission.
