The Minister of Finance Hekuran Murati has said that household deposits in the euro currency for the first time exceed the figure of 4 billion euros, according to the report published by the Central Bank of Kosovo for the month of August.
In a post on Facebook, he wrote that in the last four years, household deposits have increased by 1.51 billion euros or three times higher than "the previous years during previous governments".
"This is an indication that economic growth is comprehensive and is not only for businesses, but for all citizens. And this is a good thing because having more money, households buy more, which increases the turnover of businesses, and ultimately the need for increased employment.
Similarly, the state budget, while in the past it served for the enrichment of some, is now oriented towards maternity allowances, child allowances, support for students and pensioners, essential medicines, support for farmers, but also security and protection", Murati wrote. .
