Doctor from the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, (IKSHPK) Burbuqe Nushi tells KosovaPress that every day the values ​​of manganese continue to rise.

Another citizen Ibrahim Asllani says that usually when they are in such situations they are forced to buy water for drinking.

The water supply from the trucks is done in the neighborhoods "Badoci i ri", "Graçanica", "Hajvalia", "Veterniku", "Lagjja e Spitalit", "Rruga B", "Bregu i Diellit" and "Muharrem Fejza".

Manganese is a mineral that can cause serious health problems if its amount in water is greater than 0.05 milligrams per liter, as it can add a different color, smell and taste to water.

Some of the potential effects of using water with high manganese content are problems in the digestive system, impact on the nervous system, damage to the health of children and heart problems.
