French President Emmanuel Macron has reacted after the stormy Trump-Zelensky meeting in the Oval Office, which ended with the Ukrainian president's departure, the non-signing of the rare earths agreement and the cancellation of the press conference.
Macron wrote that there is an aggressor, Russia, and there is a victim, which is Ukraine.
"We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago – and we continue to do so. By 'we', I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese and many others. Thank you to all those who have helped and continue to do so. And respect to those who have fought from the beginning because they are fighting for their dignity, for their independence, for their children and for the security of Europe," Macron wrote on "X", reports KosovaPress.
