The Minister of Health Rifat Latifi met today with the ambassador of the United Emirates based in Podgorica, Nabila Abdelaziz Nasir Saeed Alshamsi, with whom they discussed the cooperation between the two countries in the field of health.
Latifi thanked the United Emirates for the continuous contribution in the field of health in Kosovo, with special emphasis on the construction of the children's hospital in Pristina, adding that the start of work in this hospital will take place at the end of this month.
In this meeting, Minister Latifi mentioned that the priority of the Ministry of Health for the creation of the Trauma Center and other centers of excellence such as the one for kidney transplantation, thus hoping for continuous cooperation with the United Emirates as well as in the creation of the necessary infrastructure as well as in raising professional capacities for these centers.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Alshamsi promised that the United Emirates will always be ready for cooperation in many projects related to the improvement of the health system in Kosovo, including the exchange of experiences between the doctors of both countries.
Alshamsi emphasized that it will be a strong supporter in the continuity of all ideas and projects related to the improvement of the health system in Kosovo.
