The ruling party, the Vetëvendosje Movement, continues to insist that Kosovo has its own institutions to draw up the draft statute of the Association of Serb-majority municipalities. Responding to the EU's constant request that Kosovo proceed to the Constitutional Court with the draft association statute drawn up by the EU, the LVV accuses Serbia of not implementing the Brussels agreement and the Ohrid annex. On the other hand, the two opposition parties, LDK and AAK, accused the government of Kosovo of bringing bad deals to the country that violate the constitutional order of Kosovo.

The head of the Parliamentary Group of the LVV, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, said that the institutions of Kosovo are capable and have the powers to draw up the draft statute of the Association and send it to the Constitutional Court for review.

However, criticism was addressed by the head of LDK deputies, Arben Gashi, who said that through the Brussels agreement and the Ohrid annex, the Kurti government has violated the constitutional order of Kosovo.

He questioned the acceptance or not of the Government of Kosovo of the Association's draft statute.

Meanwhile, the head of the AAK Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, accused the government of leaving the Brussels agreement and the Association's draft statute at the 'door' of the next government, which he called harmful for the country.

The European Union has recently asked the institutions in Kosovo to proceed to the Constitution of the Association's draft statute, drawn up by them.

However, such a thing is considered unacceptable by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who last week said that the Prime Minister does not establish associations of municipalities./KosovaPress/
