The deputy of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Armend Muja, in a media conference presented the data regarding the debate on single-source contracts for tenders. During the presentation of the figures, the chairman of the Budget Committee, Muja, said that according to the data of the KRPP, it appears that the number of contracts with a negotiated procedure "in the mandate of the Kurti Government has been halved, when compared to previous governments".

Deputy Muja also emphasized that single-source contracts are only opposition propaganda.

Deputy Muja has mentioned the value and percentage of contracts from one source over the years, where he also mentioned former minister Hykemete Bajrami. According to him, in 2008 and 2015 there was a record number of single-source contracts.

These contracts with a negotiated procedure have been the object of clashes between the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, and the LDK deputy, Hykmete Bajrami, for several days.

After this media conference of Vetëvendosje, the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, reacted again.

According to Murat, "when you listen to the opposition and analysts talking, you get the impression that the number of this type of contracts has exceeded all previous governments".

"It is understandable that the number cannot drop to zero because every time there is something to procure that requires the use of articles 34 and 35 of the law on public procurement. But it is not even about increasing the number of such contracts, let alone going beyond what the law allows. The data below best prove that all the noise and propaganda made a few months ago, orchestrated by the opposition, to which the Special Prosecutor's Office is keeping its mouth shut, is nothing but a special war against the Kurti Government, the government the most honest that the country has ever had", Murati wrote.
