The Vetëvendosje Movement held an election rally in Theranda, where Prime Minister Albin Kurti was warmly welcomed by the citizens. In his speech, Kurti used the opportunity to present the achievements of his government and 'punch' past governments for their failures.
"Theranda has always been an example of patriotism and national dedication. From here, where martyrs and artists are immortalized, we are proud of everything we have achieved in these four years. We have grown the economy, we have increased employment, we have supported farmers and pensioners. We are building a safe and strong Kosovo, the bad neighbor has shot us, and there is a solution, even the good rifle," said Kurti.
Focusing on the issue of defense, Kurti promised that his government in the next mandate will invest 1 billion euros in the Kosovo army. He mentioned the purchase of combat drones and modern military equipment, as well as the construction of an ammunition factory in the country.
Referring to the investments made in Theranda, he mentioned the fact that over 13 million euros have been invested in infrastructure, support for farmers, as well as support for education and culture.
Kurti stressed the importance of the February 9 elections, which he described as a referendum on the future of Kosovo. He called for the commitment of citizens from Theranda to reach 15 votes in this municipality, calling on them to vote for number 118.
"On February 9th, there are no elections, there is a referendum. It is the day when you must punish with a vote those who for decades have held Kosovo back and give us the mandate to move it forward," Kurti concluded, assuring citizens of an even stronger government in the next mandate.
