World Bank Vice President for Development Finance, Akihiko Nishio, praised Kosovo's decision to become a donor to IDA-21, a fund that helps the world's poorest countries. He described this step as a historic moment for Kosovo and a testament to its sustainability on the international stage.

In a press conference with the acting Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, he also emphasized that Kosovo takes its place as a donor in IDA-21 (International Development Association), thus completing a full cycle in its development journey, reports KosovaPress.

On the other hand, Minister Hekuarn Murati highly praised the cooperation that the country has with the World Bank. He emphasized that so far, in terms of international agreements, it is the supporter with the largest volume.

According to Murat, the contracts signed and ratified so far are worth 376 million euros.
