Kosovo expects a victory over Iceland on Thursday, said the coach of the Kosovo national football team, Franco Foda.

"Now we have to find new solutions. We know that Iceland plays an intense game, is very aggressive, has good players. But we will try to present our ideas on the field, to perform like against Romania and win at home. I expect all our demands to be implemented on the field and to show increased intensity on the field," said Foda.

Asked about the young players, the national team's selector said they have prospects in the Kosovo team, reports KosovaPress.

He also spoke about Meriton Korenica, who is in good form in the Romanian championship. He said that Korenica is in his plans and if he continues in high form, he will be invited in the future.

Franco Foda has also stated that no invitation has been sent to Malisheva midfielder Etnik Brruti for the two matches against Iceland.

As for player Meriton Korenica, Foda said that he is in his plans and if he continues in top form, he will be invited in the future.

"Unfortunately we can't invite 30 players, but we have invited 25 players," he said.
