There are dozens of other stories, unheard, within the space of the first museum of survivors of sexual violence during the last war in Kosovo, which was opened on Tuesday afternoon in Pristina.
The name of this museum is "Chast" and it comes as evidence of the lives and sufferings of about 20 thousand women and men who were raped by Serbian forces in the war of 1998-1999.
The museum contains documented stories of survivors, through their personal testimonies.
The curator of the "Çast" museum, Eliza Hoxha, showed that these spaces call for reflection and recognition of the pain experienced by women and men from Kosovo.
The creator of this museum and the founder of the Jahjaga Foundation, former president Atifete Jahjaga said that these spaces are evidence of the life and suffering experienced for more than two decades by women and men who were sexually abused in the war.
Minister of Culture, Hajrulla Çeku pledged to dedicate themselves to supporting the cause and survivors of sexual violence.
The museum which was opened tonight is the result of the cooperation between the Jahjaga Foundation and the German Embassy.

At the opening of this museum, the mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama said that this place is a call for reflection on the past of society in Kosovo.
