Increasing cooperation in the field of tourism is of great importance for Kosovo and Finland. The Ambassador of Finland in Pristina, Matti Nissinen, at the reception organized tonight for the promotion of tourism, expressed the need for more Kosovars to visit Finland as an attractive tourist destination.
He expressed his belief that Kosovo also has a lot to offer to Finnish tourists.
"The initiative is to increase travel between Finland and Kosovo, we want to bring many people from Finland here, because we believe that Kosovo has a lot to offer to Finnish tourists, but we need to raise awareness, we need to increase knowledge about the possibilities. here and also we want to bring people from Kosovo to visit Finland", he said.
The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, has said that Kosovo and Finland aim for cooperation for the development of tourism, but also of other sectors. She emphasized that they have developed important instruments in support of the development of the economy and tourism.
"Our common goal of MINT and the Embassy of Finland is to develop more the tourism sector, but also other sectors of innovation and as much networking as possible between businesses. The increase of economic cooperation between Kosovo and Finland... We have developed important instruments that will support the unfolding of the cultural and natural potential of tourism, here we also expect close cooperation with various international actors for the promotion of tourism support to bring tourism actors from Finland, but also other countries to appreciate and get to know Kosovo more closely, but not only from the perception from outside that may also have a misunderstanding or not a real perception of our country Kosovo, more tourists in Kosovo from Finland, but also the world," she said.
