The Presidency of the Assembly of Kosovo will set tomorrow the date for the solemn session in which former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will address the members of the Assembly.

The exact date of the visit of the great friend of the Albanians has not yet been announced.

The presidency, in its meeting from 11:00, will schedule the continuation of the session from the unfinished item on March 28, 2024 - the vote on the establishment of the Parliamentary Investigative Committee for procurement procedures negotiated without publication of the contract notice, in the ministry and in the central public enterprise.

It will also be decided for the plenary session postponed from the previous date to be held on May 24, 2024 - the review of the Draft Resolution for three years of governance.

The chairmanship in the proposal of the agenda for the next plenary session will have the approval of the minutes from the previous session, statements outside the agenda, parliamentary questions, voting on the Draft Law for the ratification of the Financing Agreement, for the first program for "Financing of development policies for fiscal effectiveness, competitiveness and green growth", between Kosovo and the International Association for Development, the vote of the Statute of the University of Pristina "Hasan Prishtina” in Pristina, the vote in the second reading of the Draft Law on reproductive health and medically assisted fertilization, the vote in principle of the Draft Law on civil status, the vote in principle of the Draft Law on the state matriculation exam, the vote in principle of the Draft Law for foreigners.

In the second consideration will also be the Draft Law on Sports, the Draft Law on Youth, the Draft Law on the Register of Beneficial Owners, the Draft Law on Bankruptcy, the Draft Law on the Defense Intelligence and Security Agency, the Draft Law on Fire Protection, the Draft Law on Identity Cards, the Draft Law on Services Private Security. 

The draft law on banks and the draft law on air navigation service providers will be considered first.

On the agenda of the session to be set by the Presidency, there will also be a vote on the establishment of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry on the executive responsibilities of the Ministry of Justice in relation to the suspicious fires at the Institute of Forensic Medicine, the disappearance of samples in the case of Astri Dehari and any action or inaction of this ministry that has violated the independence and legal responsibilities of this institute.

On the agenda will be the establishment of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry for the process of calculating the debts of the water bottling companies, as well as the manner and basis of debt repayment by the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, the voting of the draft resolution on addressing of the findings of the report of the American Department of State, the review of the Draft Code of Conduct for the Members of the Assembly of Kosovo, the review of the Draft Declaration on Kosovo's relations with the USA, the review of the Draft Resolution addressing the issue of emigration of citizens from Kosovo and the reporting of the Government of Kosovo on the progress on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the reflection of the Transformative Agenda of Kosovo in the budget and government policies.
