The women's representative A is in the stage of preparations for the matches within the FIBA ​​European Championship of Small States that will be held in Cyprus from June 28 to July 3.

The captaincy of Arbnore Pëquku spoke about the expectations. "Last year we took the third place, and this year we expect to emerge as champions in front of the participating representatives," said Përquku for the FBK official website.

The well-known basketball player also talked about the feeling of being a captain: "It's the second year in a row that I'm a captain. It is a very special feeling. In addition to being a very good feeling, it is also a responsibility since we represent the colors of the state in the international arena".

Even the talented basketball player Astera Tuhina expressed optimism about the competitions in Cyprus.

"We hope to finish the Championship as champions, it is not very difficult to achieve, but it takes a lot of work, we will give our best to present ourselves as best as possible," said Tuhina for the FBK website.

Tuhina has also spoken about the atmosphere inside the Representative Office: "The atmosphere is very good and I hope it will be like this until the end because it is very important for the Representative Office's performance in this championship."

Kosovo begins its adventure in Nicosia, Cyprus on June 28 in the match against Malta.
