American soldiers from the NATO-led KFOR mission have conducted a mounted patrol along the administrative boundary line in northern Kosovo.

These efforts, according to KFOR's announcement, are part of the daily mission to guarantee a safe environment for all communities living in Kosovo, reports KosovaPress.

"KFOR continues to implement its mandate - based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 - to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times, and KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders," the statement said.
