The Italian team Juventus signed today with Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz an agreement worth 53.5 million dollars.

Douglas Luiz has agreed a five-year contract after he became the latest player to leave Aston Villa due to the Premier League club's Financial Fair Play cut costs.

Luiz, who scored 22 goals in 204 appearances for Aston Villa, completed his medical ahead of his move to Juventus while on duty with Brazil at the Copa America. Luiz, who helped Brazil win a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, was voted Aston Villa's Player of the Year for the 2022/23 season.
