The Guardia Costiera, the ship that will take and return to Italy the 12 immigrants who were previously accommodated in the Gjadri camp, has arrived at the port of Shengjin.
It was the Court of Rome that did not consider the settlement of immigrants legal within the Italian center in Gjadër in Albania.
The court order ordered the return to Italy of the 12 immigrants who had arrived earlier in Gjadër. According to the court's decision, the two countries where immigrants come from, Bangladesh and Egypt, are not safe even in the light of the decision of the European Court of Justice.
This decision, however, does not abolish the camps because they are built for refugees who go there from designated safe countries.
Meanwhile, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announces that the decision will be appealed, as she adds that it is not the courts that evaluate which country is safe or not./ TCh/
