Kosovo today marks the 17th anniversary of independence, the festive event in the capital's square, organized by the Municipality of Pristina, was attended by a small number of citizens, also due to the cold weather prevailing in the country. Meanwhile, some of the citizens who are following this concert expressed that the Municipality of Pristina could have organized a bigger and better concert.

Citizen Anela Zejnullahi told KosovaPress that the municipality should have organized a larger event, inviting assemblies from different countries, not just Kosovo and Albania.

Meanwhile, Fatmir Thaçi, who had come especially from Germany to celebrate Kosovo's independence, emphasized that the organization is good, and thanks to it, Kosovo is making good progress.

Meanwhile, Bajram Ademi added that it would have been better to organize this concert differently.

Finally, the mayor of the capital, Përparim Rama, congratulated all citizens on the Independence Day.

Rama said that today is a wonderful day, as he said "a day that has been awaited for centuries."
