The municipality of Deçan held the traditional holiday "Chestnut Day".

According to the municipality, this is a special holiday that brings attention to this precious fruit, which has been part of traditions and culture for many centuries.

"Through this holiday, we remember the strong connection we have with nature and our past, while also celebrating community and hospitality. The best Albanian painters added magnificence to this celebration, who displayed their works in the open exhibition in the Colony of Artists. This event was also enriched by the fair with local products, from the farmers of our municipality, the most hardworking people of the country. The Mayor of the Municipality, Mr. Bashkim Ramosaj, I thank each and every one of you who honored us with your participation today", says the announcement of the municipality.
