Thiago Motta insists Juventus followed their game plan perfectly to beat Manchester City 2-0 in the Champions League. The Bianconeri knew the pressure was on, as they were eight points level with Manchester City going into this clash.
Both teams appear to be in crisis at the moment, but Juve ran out 2-0 winners in Turin thanks to a Dusan Vlahovic header and another from Weston McKennie to put them up the table.
"We played with heart and soul, but also with our head, with the desire to do things the right way," Thiago Motta told Amazon Prime Video Italia.
"We knew before the game that we would have to defend deep a lot more than usual, but we did it together as a team. Even in attack, we had to go together, strike at the right time and that's what we did. "It's a well-deserved win, the boys did well and we also had a few players back from injury, which means our medical staff are working well to get the players fit," said the Italian.
