"We demand to raise the value of the coefficient", "We want social dialogue", "The government respects pensioners", were some of the calls and inscriptions on the protesters' placards. Hundreds of workers and trade unionists have marched from the National Library, to the Ministry of Education and towards the building of the Government of Kosovo. The leaders of the Independent Trade Union of the Private Sector and the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo have joined the protest organized by the United Education Union.

Social dialogue, signing of the annex to the collective contract of education, respect for pensioners, and improvement of working conditions, were some of the demands of the protesters.

After the march, the head of SBAShK, Rrahman Jashari, declared that the government is running away from dialogue and that they will be forced to take other union actions.

Trade unionist Arif Elezi emphasized the demands they have for the government, among other things, they asked the government to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court on the payment of work experience for the first 15 years of work.

The head of the Private Sector Union, Jusuf Azemi, said that Prime Minister Albin Kurti is not fulfilling the promises made in the campaign.

Today's protest, the chairman of BSPK, Atdhe Hykolli said that it is an invitation to the government for dialogue.

He added that pensioners deserve maximum respect and recognition for the contribution they have made. /Sh. Pajaziti/
